The Historic Journey across the Kingdom 1954

His Majesty, our revered and exalted King, is always keen to personally inspect the conditions of his people—so that he may see their circumstances with his own eyes, hear their complaints with his own ears, reward the diligent for their work, grant justice to the wronged, and support the weak. This is what led His Majesty to undertake this historic tour across his Kingdom, traversing hundreds of miles in his car as part of his magnificent procession. Below are the regions he inspected after departing from the city of Arar:

  • Al‑Jouf and Sakaka – governed by Prince Abdulrahman Al‑Sudairi.
  • Dumat Al‑Jandal – governed by Abdullah Al‑Ma‘rouf, and administratively affiliated with the Emirate of Al‑Jouf.
  • Qurayyat Al‑Milh – governed by Prince Abdulaziz Al‑Sudairi.

Hail – reported by our correspondent Abdullah Khayyat:

His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Musa‘ad arrived by air, accompanied by His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Al‑Madinah Abdullah Al‑Sudairi and His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman Al‑Tubaishi. They were honored to receive His Majesty the Exalted King and greet him with the warmest welcome.

  • Al‑‘Abariyyah – affiliated with Qurayyat Al‑Milh, located on the northwestern border.
  • Al‑Hadithah – affiliated with Qurayyat Al‑Milh, located on the Jordanian border.
  • Tabuk – governed by Prince Khalid Al‑Sudairi.
  • Tayma – governed by Prince Ibn ‘Atayshan.

The royal procession traveled through these cities of the Kingdom, with His Majesty inspecting the conditions of his subjects and bestowing his generosity upon them.

The governors of these cities, along with crowds of citizens, school students, members of the army, and men of the tribes and clans, received His Majesty with chants for his long life and prayers for his well‑being. Numerous delegations from tribes and clans in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain also came to greet His Majesty on the occasion of his being near their borders.
