About us

The King Saud Online Library was established by HRH Princess Fahda Bint Saud in 2005 during the launch of the first version of the King Saud website which was inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud when he was Prince of Riyadh. This was done under his patronage during the seminar of the history of King Saud at the National Museum in Riyadh on 26th November 2006, 6 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1427 AH.

Today, the audio-visual library contains a wide range of rare and valuable documents, photographs, references and newspapers clippings taken from Princess Fahda bint Saud’s private library.

The King Saud Library aims at helping interested researchers in this field as well as enrich the history  of King Saud and Saudi Arabia.
