King Saud visit to Pakistan 1953

is Majesty then proceeded to Pakistan, the free and independent Islamic nation, reaffirming through this visit his deep commitment to Islamic unity and his sincere desire to achieve it.
This journey carried noble meanings that reflected the great aspiration His Majesty tirelessly worked to fulfill.

The Pakistani people welcomed him with an extraordinary reception unmatched in its warmth and affection.
This was no surprise, for His Majesty held a unique place in the hearts of the Pakistani people—and in the hearts of Muslims everywhere.
He was the Islamic monarch who safeguarded the interests of Muslims, cared for their affairs, and served as the Protector of the Two Holy Mosques and the leader of the Muslim world, whose constitution was founded upon the Qur’an and the Sunnah—reviving the glory and dignity of Islam.

The days of his visit were days of joy, prosperity, and continuous celebration.
In Peshawar, His Majesty inaugurated the largest power‑generation station in the region and donated one million rupees to support Pakistan’s poor refugees.
He also led tens of thousands of Muslims in prayer—men who had come from every direction to honor him and pray behind him, reviving the radiant memory of the Islamic caliphate.

This visit brought the two nations closer in vision and strengthened their shared efforts to fulfill the hopes of Muslims and unite their ranks.

Upon returning from this blessed journey, His Majesty issued a statement describing the state of relations between the two countries:

“I am deeply gratified by all that I saw and heard in every place I visited and from every brother I met.
The Islamic spirit that unites us, the religious bond that ties us, and the goals we strive for together—these are our true concerns.
We seek no special interest or personal gain in what we call for and pursue, except to unite the Muslims of the East and West upon truth, so that they may be like a solid structure and a single body.
‘And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of God.’
This is our aim, our purpose, and our guiding principle.”
