Determination of State Expenditures and Revenues

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

After reviewing the statements of State revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year 1374 A.H.,
and based on what has been submitted to us by the Minister of State,

We hereby order the following:

 

1.

State expenditures for the fiscal year 1374 A.H. are set at 1,355,000,000 Saudi riyals, in accordance with the statements attached to this decree.

 

2.

State revenues for the fiscal year 1374 A.H. are set at 1,143,010,500 Saudi riyals, in accordance with the statements attached to this decree.

 

3.

An amount of 211,989,500 Saudi riyals shall be withdrawn from the State’s General Reserve to cover the expenditure deficit.

 

4.

Revenues shall continue to be collected in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions, and all revenues shall be deposited with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and its branches to the account of the Ministry of Finance.

 

5.

Expenditures shall be disbursed in accordance with the budget and its specific instructions through the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency.

 

6.

No transfer of funds from one chapter to another shall be permitted except by our order—and only when necessary.

 

7.

Any surplus in revenues or savings in expenditures beyond what is approved in this budget shall be transferred to the State’s General Reserve.

 

8.

The Prime Minister shall implement this decree and communicate it to all concerned authorities for adoption and execution.
