Royal Decree Concerning the Budget of the Ministry of Commerce

By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

After reviewing Council of Ministers Resolution No. 18 dated 16/2/1374 A.H., concerning the budget of the Ministry of Commerce for the fiscal year 1374,
and based on what has been submitted to us by the Prime Minister,

We hereby order the following:

 

Article One

The expenditure budget of the Ministry of Commerce for the fiscal year 1374 A.H. is set at 2,824,000 Saudi riyals, as detailed in the schedules attached to this decree.

 

Article Two

Implementation of this budget shall commence as of 1 Muḥarram 1374 A.H.

 

Article Three

Under no circumstances may expenditures exceed the appropriations approved in the budget, and no amendments may be introduced during the fiscal year.

 

Article Four

No transfer of funds from one chapter to another, or from one item to another, shall be permitted.

 

Article Five

No new positions may be created beyond those specified in the budget.

 

Article Six

Salaries of employees appointed to newly created positions shall be paid from the date they assume their duties, subject to the initial deductions required under the Civil Service Law.

 

Article Seven

The Ministry of Commerce shall comply with the General Civil Service Scale and its instructions, the Civil Service Law, the Travel Expenses Regulations, and all other applicable financial regulations governing expenditures.

 

Article Eight

All previous instructions that conflict with this decree are hereby repealed.

 

Article Nine

The Prime Minister shall implement this decree and communicate it to all concerned authorities.
