With the help of God Almighty,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
After reliance upon God,
and in view of the submission presented by our son, Naif bin Abdulaziz, requesting his resignation from the Governorship of Riyadh due to his illness and his need for treatment and rest, and in response to his request, we have approved his resignation, with our appreciation for the beneficial work he accomplished during his tenure.
Accordingly, we hereby order the appointment of our son, Salman bin Abdulaziz, as Governor of Riyadh.
We ask God for success and peace.
