His Majesty King Saud gifted Qasr al‑Hamra’ to the Council of Ministers, and further donated two additional royal palaces to the Ministry of Education to be transformed into institutions of learning. Both were located in the al‑Murabba‘ district—one formerly serving as the Council of Ministers’ headquarters and the other as the Royal Guesthouse.”
