Statement by His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Abdulaziz Minister of Education
It gives me great pleasure on this noble occasion to speak on my own behalf and on behalf of all educators and students across the Kingdom, as we join the honorable Saudi people in celebrating the happy anniversary of the accession of His Majesty, my Lord the King, to the throne.
I seize this cherished opportunity to extend to our beloved Sovereign, the King of the nation, the highest expressions of congratulations. With sincerity filling my heart and faith stirring my emotions, I pray that God will fulfill all that this country aspires to under His Majesty’s generous shade, so that it may attain the rank it deserves among the nations of the world.
It brings me immense happiness to speak of what the Ministry of Education has achieved during His Majesty’s blessed reign. It has taken great strides in spreading education among the people—steps that inspire pride, hope, and optimism.
What the nation sees and hears each day of enduring achievements—testifying to His Majesty’s generous support for knowledge and its seekers—is the greatest proof of his encouragement and guidance to the Ministry of Education. May God preserve him and prolong his life.
I earnestly pray to the Almighty, exalted be His power, to grant His Majesty long life and continued success, to keep him as a bearer and uplifter of the banner of knowledge, and as a great leader of this nation’s renaissance.
