“Since the moment we set foot in this blessed region of our dear homeland, we have seen and heard from its noble people—across all classes—manifestations of loyalty and devotion that reflect sincere affection and genuine sentiment.”
His Majesty continued:
“These popular demonstrations with which we were received wherever we went, and the noble feelings shown by all who met us, compel us to express our deep gratitude. They also inspire us to continue our efforts to achieve progress, development, and reform; to spare no effort or sacrifice in raising the standard of living of our nation; to spread the light of knowledge throughout the land; to strengthen security and stability; and to adopt every means of reform in all aspects of life—guided by the principles of our noble Sharia. We ask Almighty God to bless our work so that its benefits may reach all—young and old, weak and strong.”
His Majesty then addressed the nation’s reform program:
“You have surely observed the initial steps we have taken, in this short period, to implement part of the comprehensive program we have designed to reform the affairs of our nation across the land, to elevate its standing among nations, and to secure for it the honorable rank it aspires to. We shall follow these steps, God willing, with further, broader measures—year after year, and era after era—until, with God’s help, we achieve what we seek.”
He emphasized the foundations of nation‑building:
“As we work to build the structure of this nation in all its dimensions, we are determined that it be founded upon firm and solid principles—unshaken by storms or swayed by whims. This requires study, scrutiny, verification, and correction. We are not deceived by appearances or empty hopes; rather, we seek to build as our forefathers built, and to act as they acted.”
“Such endeavors are great and demanding, and every great work is surrounded by difficulties, hardships, and sacrifices. With God’s help, we shall bear these burdens with patience, determination, and resolve.”
His Majesty then called upon the people:
“It is the duty of every citizen to cooperate with us by fulfilling his national obligations—founded upon adherence to the principles of our noble religion, the Book of God, and the Sunnah of His chosen Messenger. Let him be guided by the legacy of our righteous predecessors, who built their glory upon honesty in word and deed, sincerity in private and public, purity of intention, and noble character.”
He quoted the well‑known maxim:
“Nations are upheld by morals as long as they endure;
If their morals perish, they perish.”
His Majesty continued:
“Upon these firm foundations, we call upon the sons of this homeland to cooperate with us in building their nation, reviving their ancient glory, and shaping their future. Forward, noble people—united and steadfast, like a solid structure whose parts support one another. Our duty is to uphold justice among you, defend your rights, and work for the welfare of your religion and your worldly affairs. Your duty is to persevere in sincere work, good conduct, patience in seeking knowledge, and aspiration to elevate your country.”
“Our doors are open to hear your complaints, suggestions, and needs, and you will hear from us guidance and encouragement toward what is good. This is the path we shall continue to follow, God willing.”
He then warned against destructive ideologies:
“God has blessed us with abundant resources, true faith, and strong unity. If we invest these blessings in righteous deeds, God will grant us the best of rewards in this life and the next.”
“But if destructive ideologies, corrupt propaganda, or misguided doctrines infiltrate your ranks—those in which the enemies of religion and homeland mix poison with honey—then whoever inclines toward them will face failure, humiliation, and disgrace, becoming a tool in the hands of those enemies. Therefore, reject every call to corruption and destruction, and stand firm against anything that contradicts the principles of truth, religion, and noble character.”
He affirmed the Kingdom’s openness to sincere contributors:
“We have opened our country to our Arab and Muslim brothers who seek good, to help us advance our nation and share in its blessings. Whoever among them is sincere, faithful to his commitments, and upright in conduct deserves our care and hospitality.”
Finally, His Majesty pledged firmness against harmful movements:
“We warn all against these harmful tendencies that have caused turmoil and ruin in many other countries. We shall confront them with determination, alongside every sincere person, and we will not hesitate to strike at their sources and uproot them—wherever they may be and whatever form they take.”
“Assist us in upholding truth, and God will assist you. Rise with us in seeking what is good, and God will grant you success and a blessed end.”
“We thank you for your warm welcome, your sincere feelings, and your loyalty. We ask Almighty God to guide us and you to the straight path. He is the All‑Hearing, the Responsive.”
