Turki bin Madi: The reason behind the rebellion of the Rith tribes

Turki bin Madi stated that the reason behind the rebellion of the Rith tribes in the year 1374 AH was their attack on the judge of Al‑Rith. They then fortified themselves in Jabal Al‑Qahr, prompting King Saud to issue his directive for their return.
The poet Saeed Al‑Naj‘i—may he rest in peace—recited these lines in a poem that was delivered to King Saud, may he rest in peace.

O messenger bound for Saud, convey to him our words:
Tell him that the warriors of ‘Asir have reached the height of their aspirations,
and every falcon has risen above the highest crest.

Ibr Imtahmi advanced, and he seized Al‑Muqhar
in the span of half a day,
for ‘Asir and the noble men of my tribe are fierce in battle.
