Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
We have received the report of the Consultative Council dated 29 Dhul‑Hijjah 1376 concerning its work during the session that concluded on that same date. We have also reviewed the efforts exerted by the Council regarding the matters presented to it and the resolutions it has adopted. We value the Council’s diligence and activity in serving the nation and its interests.
Accordingly, we hereby direct that the Council continue its work as previously, in its present composition, with consideration to filling vacancies at a later time. We have also ordered that the new system be reviewed by the Council of Ministers.
We ask God to grant you and the members of the Council success and prosperity in the new year, in all that serves the interests of this blessed land.
