By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
After reviewing Articles Six and Eighteen of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Law No. 5/4/2/524, issued on 2 Rabi‘ al‑Awwal 1374 AH,
and Royal Order No. 2/35/1/1162, dated 17 Rabi‘ al‑Thani 1377 AH, concerning the exchange of political representation between us and the Republic of China,
and based on the submission presented to us by the Prime Minister and the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs,
We hereby decree the following:
Article One:
A Saudi Embassy shall be established in the Republic of China.
Article Two:
Mr. As‘ad Al‑Faqih, our Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, is hereby appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary on our behalf to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of China, in addition to his current post.
Article Three:
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree.
