Approval of the Exchange of Political Representation with Japan

By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

After reviewing Articles Six and Twelve of Royal Decree No. 5/4/2/524, issued on 2 Rabi‘ al‑Thani 1374,
and pursuant to our Royal Order approving the exchange of political representation between us and Japan,
and based on the submission presented to us by the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs,
and in accordance with the requirements of public interest,
We hereby decree the following:

Article One:
An embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall be established in the Empire of Japan.

Article Two:
Mr. As‘ad Al‑Faqih is hereby appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary on our behalf to His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.

Article Three:
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs shall implement this Royal Decree.
