By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
After reviewing the Retirement System issued on 16 / 3 / 1374 AH,
and Royal Decree No. 17/2/19/1484, dated 30 Sha‘ban 1374 AH,
and based on what public interest requires,
We hereby order the following:
Article One:
The first sentence of paragraph (a) of Article One of Royal Decree No. 17/2/19/1484, dated 30 Sha‘ban 1374 AH, shall be amended to read as follows:
“Anyone who is injured while performing the duties of his job, and because of it, by an injury or illness…”
Article Two:
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance and National Economy shall implement this order.
