By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
After reviewing our Royal Order No. 6515, dated 1 Muharram 1374 A.H.,
and based on Article Two of the Council of Ministers Law,
and in accordance with what has been submitted to us by the Prime Minister,
We hereby order the following:
1.
The Ministry of Economy shall be merged with the Ministry of Finance, forming a single ministry under the name:
“The Ministry of Finance and National Economy.”
2.
This ministry shall be responsible for the duties specified in the Ministry of Finance Law, and shall also supervise the development of the national economy and the administration and improvement of oil and mineral affairs.
3.
Mr. Mohammed Surur Al‑Sabban, Minister of State and Royal Advisor, is hereby appointed Minister of Finance and National Economy.
4.
The Prime Minister shall implement this decree and communicate it to all concerned authorities.
