In view of our desire to uphold the rites of Islam, implement what is commanded in the Book of God, elevate religious education in the country, and organize the conduct of religious affairs in our Kingdom…
After relying on God, we have entrusted the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, with the general supervision of religious education throughout the Kingdom—whether in the existing institutes or those that will be established in the future—and over all matters related to the Islamic religious revival in the country.
We ask God to guide all our steps and grant us success in what He loves and is pleased with.”
