Budget of the Ministry of Communications

With the help of God Almighty,

We, Saud bin Abdulaziz, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

After reviewing the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. (—) dated (—) / 1373 AH concerning the budget of the Ministry of Communications, and based on what has been presented to us by the Deputy Prime Minister,

We hereby order the following:

Article 1

The expenditure budget of the Ministry of Communications for the fiscal year 1373–1374 AH is set at 97,026,118, as detailed in the table attached to this decree.

Article 2

The implementation of this budget shall begin on the first day of Shawwal 1373 AH.

Article 3

The Ministry of Communications shall submit the account for the first three months of the fiscal year—from the beginning of Rajab until the end of Ramadan 1373 AH—based on actual expenditures, and send it to the Ministry of Finance for official approval of disbursement.

Article 4

It is not permitted to exceed the appropriations allocated in the budget under any circumstances or for any reason, nor is it permitted to introduce any amendments to it during the year.

Article 5

It is not permitted to transfer any amount from one chapter to another or from one item to another.

Article 7

Salaries of employees appointed to newly created positions shall be paid from the date they assume their duties, taking into account the initial deduction required by the Civil Service Regulations.

Article 8

The Ministry of Communications must adhere to the application of the General Employee Scale and its instructions, the General Civil Service Regulations, the Travel Regulations, and all other applicable financial regulations governing expenditures in accordance with proper procedures.

Article 9

All previous instructions that conflict with this decree are hereby annulled.

Article 10

The Deputy Prime Minister shall implement this decree and communicate it to the relevant authorities.
