His Majesty the King Donates One Thousand Tons of Petroleum to the Refugees
We have received the following statement from the General Directorate of Press and Publication:
All Lebanese and Jordanian newspapers published the announcement issued by the General Administration of the Refugee Relief Agency, which stated:
His Majesty King Saud, in keeping with his annual tradition, has graciously offered another gift of Saudi petroleum amounting to one thousand tons for the Arab Palestinian refugees. Of this quantity, 125 tons have been allocated to the refugees residing in Lebanon, to be distributed through the designated distribution centers. Distribution will begin on the fifteenth of June through the Relief Agency, in accordance with His Majesty’s wishes.
Thus, His Majesty’s noble sentiments continue to manifest on various occasions and through multiple means, in support of our refugee brothers—comforting them, assisting them, and showing compassion toward them. This gesture is but one example of the many generous acts for which ample space would be required to enumerate.
