Day One — Monday, 30 Shawwal 1374 AH
His Majesty’s motorcade departed at dawn from Al‑Hawiyyah near Taif, traveling for six continuous hours until reaching Ghazāyil, a settlement of the Bal‑Harith tribe. There, he attended a reception held by the tribes, toured the area, and spent the night.
Day Two — Tuesday, 1 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
After the dawn prayer, the motorcade left Ghazāyil. Two hours later, it arrived at Al‑Sawsiyyah, where His Majesty attended a reception held by the Zahran tribe of Ghamid. He then proceeded to Bathhān in Wadi Bīdah, where he attended the celebration of the Bani Bashīr tribe of Zahran and watched their traditional ‘ardah. From there, he continued to Rawdat Bani Sayyid, where a camp had been set up and where he spent the remainder of the day.
Day Three — Wednesday, 2 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
At dawn, His Majesty departed Rawdat Bani Sayyid. Upon reaching Al‑Aqiq, he attended a grand celebration organized by the Bedouin tribes of Ghamid, featuring camel displays. He returned to his camp until the afternoon prayer, after which he traveled again to Al‑Aqiq to attend several events, including a ceremony by the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and another hosted by the notable Saad bin Shaybān Al‑Ghamidi.
Day Four — Thursday, 3 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
The motorcade set out early toward the mountains. At the ascent of Al‑Sinnah, a ceremonial arch and a green ribbon blocked the road. His Majesty descended from his vehicle and cut the ribbon, inaugurating the Al‑Aqiq–Al‑Dhafeer road, constructed by the Binladin Company according to the standards of that era.
He then arrived in Al‑Dhafeer, where he attended a reception held by the Bani Abdullah clan. Later that afternoon, he attended the celebration of the people of Al‑Baha (also Bani Abdullah), followed by the first ceremony of the Bani Khathim tribe in the town of Raghdan. There, he attended a school ceremony, a speech delivered on behalf of Sheikh Hashim bin Adnan, and an address by the imam of Raghdan Mosque.
Day Five — Friday, 4 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
At dawn, His Majesty departed Al‑Dhafeer toward Baljurashi. Along the way, he attended the first celebration of the Bani Dhabyan tribe at Ri‘ Marārah, then their second at Al‑Qarn. By midday, he had reached Baljurashi, where he attended several events, including evening ceremonies held by the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue, the Salafi School, and the regional governor, Prince Abdulaziz bin Suwaylim.
Day Six — Saturday, 5 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
His Majesty attended a reception hosted by Judge Ibn Dahim of Baljurashi, followed by a joint ceremony organized by several government departments. That evening, he attended a major celebration held by the townspeople, featuring the traditional ‘ardah and a speech delivered by Ahmad Al‑Rafidi on behalf of Sheikh Ali Al‑Hamrani.
Day Seven — Sunday, 6 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
At dawn, the motorcade departed toward the village of ‘Abdān, where His Majesty attended a reception organized by the people of Bishahm under the supervision of Sheikh Ahmad Al‑Lakhmi. He then attended a ceremony hosted by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Muhammad and his brothers, followed by another organized by Mr. Muhammad Nadim, the regional manager of Binladin Company.
After the afternoon prayer, His Majesty attended the celebration of the Al‑Ruhwah tribe, followed by that of the Bani Kabīr tribe under the supervision of Sheikh Ahmad bin Suway‘id.
Day Eight — Monday, 7 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
His Majesty spent this day in Al‑Dhafeer and its surrounding areas.
Day Nine — Tuesday, 8 Dhu al‑Qi‘dah 1374 AH
The motorcade departed Al‑Dhafeer in the morning toward Rahwat Al‑Barr ibn Tha‘labah, where His Majesty attended a celebration held by the Bani Khathim tribe and neighboring villages. He then proceeded to Bani Sār for the ceremony of the Bani ‘Āmir tribe and their sheikh, Al‑Barqūsh. From there, he visited Bani Bashīr, Bani Jundub, and Wadi Quraysh, where a celebration was organized by Sheikh Al‑Hasan bin Jabir. His Majesty then continued to Al‑Mandaq, where a major celebration was held, featuring a large ‘ardah that he watched with admiration from a nearby hill.
