Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al‑Taliq, may God have mercy on him, said:
‘I have never seen in my life a man like King Saud, may God have mercy on him, in terms of piety and wisdom. I had the honor of meeting him in Tayma, in Makkah, and in Riyadh. He was a man who frequently sought God’s forgiveness, deeply religious, wise, and uninterested in idle talk. He was generous, discerning, and a master of attentive listening—fair and just. His dream, may God have mercy on him, was that goodness and prosperity would spread to every part of the Kingdom. May God have mercy on him and grant him the highest place in Paradise
