King Saud letter to King Salman for the visit of an Austrian Prince

A letter from King Saud—may God have mercy on him—to the Amir of Riyadh, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in 1375 AH / 1955 AD, informing him of the visit of a prince from Austria and his wife to Riyadh. He requests permission for the prince to pay him a courtesy call, and instructs that a sightseeing program be prepared for them to view the landmarks of Riyadh, its institutions, and its civil and military projects, including its palaces—Qasr al‑Nasiriyyah and its gardens, the Red Palace, and Qasr al‑Badiah—as well as its hospitals, the water reservoir (after which Khazzan Street was named prior to the construction of the Water Tower in 1971), the electricity facilities, the railway, and the city’s roads
