The opening of the Orphans’ Home in Riyadh in 1362 AH.
During his tenure as Crown Prince, King Saud established an orphanage at his own expense, with the aim of gathering orphans, improving their conditions, and providing them with education. In his circular, he urged public promotion of the institution, informing the community about it, and encouraging people to enroll orphans in the Home. Attached was a copy of his directive addressed to the Amir of Sudus, Muhammad bin Mu‘ammar—may God have mercy on them.
