The Crown Prince Saud Palace in Al‑Murabba, Riyadh

The palace of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince (King Saud), may God have mercy on him, located in Al‑Murabba south of the Al‑Murabba Palace Complex, separated from it by a street. Next to it stood the Guest Palace, and its construction was supervised by the master builder Sheikh Hamad bin Qabba‘, may God have mercy on him. The palace was completed along with the Al‑Murabba Palace Complex in 1357 AH. Over the years, several additions were made to the palace, as seen in old photographs, including painting and decorating the structure, building an arched shaded gate at the entrance, and a suspended bridge above it connecting the palace to the adjacent Guest Palace.

The Crown Prince lived in this palace for several years, and it was visited by King Abdullah I of Jordan in 1367 AH, as well as the well‑known diplomat Van der Meulen in 1364 AH (1945 CE). A fire broke out in the supply warehouse in 1362 AH, after which the Crown Prince moved to the neighboring Guest Palace.

Some remains of the palace still exist today, located south of the King Abdulaziz Historical Center
