On this day, King Saud arrived in Hail by land and departed by air on the 13th of Jumada Al‑Akhirah. During this visit, he inaugurated Hail General Hospital—the first hospital ever opened in the region—during a ceremony organized by the dignitaries and residents of Hail, which was attended by a large gathering.
The First Water Project in Hail — 10 Rabi‘ Al‑Thani 1387 AH (23 September 1958)
On this day, the first water supply project in the history of the Hail region was introduced to homes in the Lubbadah district of Hail. The project was funded by Sheikh Abdulaziz Al‑Zaid.
