The Higher Defense Council shall, in cases it deems necessary, have the authority to waive the age requirement stipulated for the appointment of soldiers and non‑commissioned officers as set forth in paragraph (d) of Article (2) of the Non‑Commissioned Officers and Enlisted Personnel Service Law.
