An agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance and the representative of the company on 18/5/1377 AH.
By Royal Decree No. 21 dated 20/5/1377 AH, the Japan Limited Commercial Company is granted a petroleum concession, jointly with the Kingdom on an equal‑share basis, in the submerged area of the Saudi–Kuwaiti Neutral Zone, within the prescribed boundaries and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement signed by the Minister of Finance and the company’s representative on 18/5/1377 AH.”
