By the grace of God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
In view of the heavy rains that have fallen this year and the damage they have caused to certain residential and agricultural properties, as well as to springs and wells—necessitating assistance and support for those affected—
We hereby order the following:
1.
A sum of five million riyals shall be allocated from the State’s general reserve and disbursed in accordance with Article Two of this decree.
2.
Special committees shall be appointed in every region, town, or village whose inhabitants have suffered damage due to rains and floods. These committees shall record the losses incurred and determine the assistance to be granted—to the needy only.
3.
Assistance shall not be limited to monetary aid; it may be provided in the form of cash, clothing, food, or tents, depending on the needs of each case.
4.
The Prime Minister shall implement this decree.
