Budget of the Ministry of Commerce

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

With the help of God Almighty,

We, Saud bin Abdulaziz, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

After reviewing the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 18 dated 16/2/1374 AH, concerning the budget of the Ministry of Commerce for the year 1374 AH,
And based on what has been submitted to us by the Prime Minister,

We hereby decree the following:

 

Article 1

The expenditure budget of the Ministry of Commerce for the year 1374 AH is set at 2,824,000 Saudi riyals (two million, eight hundred and twenty‑four thousand riyals), as detailed in the tables attached to this decree.

Article 2

Implementation of this budget shall commence as of 1 Muharram 1374 AH.

Article 3

The appropriations approved in the budget may not be exceeded under any circumstances or for any reason, nor may any amendments be introduced during the fiscal year.

Article 4

No transfer of funds is permitted from one chapter to another or from one item to another.

Article 5

No new positions may be created beyond those already approved in the budget.

Article 6

Salaries of employees appointed to newly created positions shall be paid from the date they assume their duties, taking into account the initial deduction required under the Civil Service Regulations.

Article 7

The Ministry of Commerce must comply with the General Civil Service Pay Scale and its instructions, the General Civil Service Regulations, the Travel Allowances Regulations, and all other applicable financial regulations governing expenditures in accordance with established procedures.

Article 8

All previous instructions that conflict with this decree are hereby repealed.

Article 9

The Prime Minister shall implement this decree and communicate it to all concerned authorities.
