We, Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al‑Faisal Al‑Saud,
King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
After relying on God Almighty, and based on what the public interest requires, we have ordered the following:
First:
The establishment of a ministry under the name “Ministry of Agriculture.”
Second:
By virtue of this decree, our son Sultan bin Abdulaziz is appointed Minister of Agriculture.
Third:
The Minister of Agriculture shall assume all matters related to agricultural affairs in the Kingdom and work to advance agriculture to a level befitting the country.
Fourth:
The concerned authorities shall implement this decree.
