“Alsaud” was in relation to King Saud bin Abdulaziz — may God have mercy on him — he served in the household of King Saud and became the King’s private minister, supervising the King’s palaces, the palaces of his sons, and all of his personal affairs. He was known for his dedication to his work and his gentle manner in dealing with others. Although he did not receive formal education, he excelled in his duties and earned the full confidence of King Saud.
He accompanied the King on many of his journeys, both in times of peace and war, and was with him during the Yemen War in 1352 AH. He passed away in 1403 AH at the age of about seventy, or slightly older, and was buried in Riyadh.
He was the father of five sons — Hussein, Abdullah (deceased), Fawzi, Mufarrih, and Muhammad — and five daughters. His children reside in the city of Riyadh
