All the development activity was being implemented at such a great pace, which called for the formulation of rules and regulations, concerning labour care, rights and employer/employee relationship, a special ordinance was issued during the month of June 1957 governing these, as well as establishing sets of regulations for application within each Government Ministry.
Meanwhile, the “General Organisation for Social Insurance” (“GOSI”), another major steps in the direction of beneficial care and protection for labour rights, particularly in case of accidents or retirement, and attached to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, was also established by a Royal Decree a few years later in 1963. This was followed by another Royal Decree during 1964, introducing further improvements to the hitherto established rights and benefits of employees.
