Statement by Professor Ahmed Tawfiq Al‑Madani

Leader of the Algerian Liberation Front — 9 December 1376 AH

Professor Ahmed Tawfiq Al‑Madani, a prominent figure of the Algerian Liberation Front, issued the following statement on 9/12/1376 AH:

“His Majesty, the King of Saudi Arabia, has supported the Algerian cause from the very first day our struggle began. He shares with the Algerian people their noble sentiments and stands with them wholeheartedly.
His Majesty has done—and continues to do—everything within his power for us Algerians. And, God willing, it will not be long before Algeria becomes an independent nation.
The great role His Majesty plays is not based on propaganda or newspaper talk. It is based on what the Algerian mujahideen have seen with their own eyes and know with absolute certainty—his magnificent efforts to achieve Algeria’s independence and to support its fighters.
History will proudly record glorious pages in His Majesty’s honor in this field.”

These words—quoted verbatim from this great Algerian mujahid—carry profound significance. They illuminate the true value of His Majesty’s support for the Algerian struggle: moral, political, and material.
