A letter from Al‑Sadat to King Saud

“A letter from Anwar al‑Sadat, Secretary‑General, to King Saud, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Conference, regarding the 1954 Mecca conference that drew Muslim delegations from across the world. He proposed establishing a General Secretariat under his charge, and a Supreme Council composed of King Saud, President Nasser, and former Pakistani Prime Minister Ahmad Ali. All resolutions passed overwhelmingly, except by the Iranian and Pakistani delegations.
