Continuation of the Fees Collected by the Capital Municipality

By the grace of Almighty God,
We, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

After reviewing the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 26 dated 8/2/1376 AH, and based on what has been presented to us by the Prime Minister,

We hereby decree the following:

Article One

The fees collected by the Capital Municipality, as specified in Table No. (1) attached to this decree, shall continue to be applied and shall be collected at the rates set forth in the aforementioned table.

Article Two

The fee schedule for all municipalities in the Kingdom is hereby approved as detailed in Table No. (2) attached to this decree, and all other fees inconsistent with it are hereby cancelled.

Article Three

The additional fees previously imposed on industrial machinery, on practitioners of various professions, and the fees imposed on the transportation of pilgrims by the Transport Company’s vehicles are hereby abolished.

Article Four

The competent authorities shall remit the proceeds of indirect fees to the Ministry of Interior. These proceeds shall be distributed according to the arrangement established by the Ministry of Interior and approved by the Council of Ministers.
The expenditure of indirect fees shall be limited to the municipality that collects them, in accordance with regulations.

Article Five

The Prime Minister shall implement this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its publication. He is also authorized to issue the necessary implementing regulations.
